MEET OUR TEAM
TARA STERKEN
Tara brings 15+ years of lending experience to the Glengarry family. Having worked in a ‘big 5’ bank, a credit union and in the broker space, she understands the limitations of institutional lending when it comes to agriculture.
Tara owns and operates a small livestock farm in Southwestern Ontario and is an active 4-H leader in her community. Her passion for agriculture, banking and real estate expertise, and hands-on approach all come together to understand and relate to the needs of her clients.
RIC LUIMES
Ric grew up on a farm, studied agriculture and business after high school, and has worked in agriculture and agri-business his entire career. He adds a strong knowledge base in Western Canadian agriculture to the team and has experience in agronomics, commodities trading, and farmland investment.
In addition to his role with Glengarry Farm Finance, Ric and his brother farm 14,000 acres near Kindersley, Saskatchewan.
ADDISON SMITH
Addison joined Glengarry Farm Finance as an agricultural credit analyst from a Big 5 bank where she also worked in agricultural lending. She grew up in the farming community of Stratford, Ontario on a hobby farm. Her passion for agriculture began in her early years but specifically while working on a large hog farm throughout university.
Addison has both hands-on and lending experience in the agricultural industry, allowing her to comprehend the day-to-day operations and needs of clients.
KARINA MUJERIVOVA
Karina’s experience spans 16 years in commercial real estate and agriculture loan funding with a sharp focus on legal administration.
Having spent the majority of her career at both a private lender and an Alberta credit union, she has developed a deep understanding of credit products, policies, procedures, and collateral security. Karina brings high levels of funding expertise and administrative counsel to the Glengarry team.

MORAY TAWSE
Moray is the co-founder and Executive Vice President and Secretary of First National Financial, a TSX-listed company and the largest non-bank mortgage lender in Canada. Moray directs the operations of all First National's commercial mortgage origination activities.
With over 30 years of experience in the real estate finance industry, Moray is one of Canada's leading experts on real estate and is often called upon to deliver keynote addresses at national real estate symposiums.
GREG STEWART
Greg spent most of his career with Farm Credit Canada, a Crown corporation and the nation's largest farm lender. Throughout his time at FCC, Greg filled a wide variety of roles in risk management, lending operations, and the executive suite, with his last 7 years as CEO.
Greg sits on a variety of for profit and not-for-profit boards, including Habitat for Humanity and the Bank of Canada.
JEFF VANROBOYS
Jeff is a third generation farmer in southwestern Ontario, where his family operates one of the largest vegetable farms in the province. In addition to farming, Jeff's family has been lending to other farmers in Ontario since the 1960s.
Jeff is a former farm credit banker, having spent time at both Farm Credit Canada and TD Bank as a loan officer.
TOM KANEB
Tom is a private equity investor, the former General Partner of Avrio Capital, an Agri-business equity fund and a founding investor in Fieldless Farms, an environmental agricultural company. Tom's focus is as a strategic investor, where he is able to assist management of investee companies to meet growth and organizational development targets. Tom is involved in a variety of philanthropic activities focused on promotion of human rights and transparent government.
GREG KALIL
Greg is the founder of Stormont Partners, a real estate and infrastructure-focused merchant bank. Prior to forming Stormont in 2018, Greg ran Brookfield Financial's Canadian investment banking business and was part of the firm's global executive team. Greg has experience investing in most types of real assets and through public and private equity channels as well as private debt.
